Delivery Partner Model

Get to work creating futures with our Delivery Partner PGCE route, where you’ll be based in a school from day one.

The curriculum for your primary or secondary teacher training will be coordinated by colleagues who have been appointed by your lead school or trust.

Some aspects of your training will be delivered by tutors from the university and colleagues in school.

You'll be placed in schools that work closely with your lead school or trust and you'll be supported by fully trained mentors.

Course structure

You'll develop your confidence and teaching knowledge in three stages.

Your training will be led by university tutors and school staff and delivered in cross-subject groups.

The main difference to the University Led Model is that it will mainly be delivered in schools.

You'll spend very little time on the Leeds Trinity University campus, but you'll still be able to access all the specialist support that you would expect from a university.

We also offer you the chance to study for the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies as part of your PGCE, a desirable qualification for many posts in the Catholic education sector.
